During the 4th session of the congress, we presented the paper “From Sensors to Sense: MoviDatum Building the Predictive Brain of the Modern City”, in which Carmelo Marín and Kike participated on our behalf, alongside Oscar Tesa Jarne, Head of IT and Digital Innovation Services at the Huesca City Council.
The session revolved around a key question: what if a city could anticipate what is going to happen? Based on this idea, we showed how MoviDatum transforms thousands of signals from IoT sensors into actionable knowledge in real time, enabling the conversion of scattered data into intelligent decisions.
During the presentation, we explained how the platform integrates, cleans, and structures large volumes of information so that Artificial Intelligence systems can detect patterns, anticipate needs, and optimize urban management in areas such as mobility, public services, and sustainability.
Additionally, we shared a real case developed together with the Huesca City Council for the management of the Low Emission Zone, a project that lays the foundation for predictive urban management based on data and advanced analytics. The experience demonstrated how technology can help public administrations make more efficient, sustainable decisions aligned with the real needs of citizens.
Beyond the technological component, the presentation focused on the importance of building useful, scalable solutions connected to the operational reality of cities and organizations. Because innovation is not only about collecting information, but about turning data into tools capable of improving decision-making and generating tangible impact.
The event, excellently organized, brought together professionals and experts from the industrial and technological ecosystem, establishing itself as one of the main meeting spaces to analyze the present and future of Industry 4.0.
