In particular, the session addressed the key objectives and obligations of the EUDR, which aims to:

• Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and biodiversity loss.
• Ensure the traceability and legality of specific raw materials and derived products.

• Creating and managing Due Diligence Statements (DDS).

The Eboca case: EUDR compliance in record time

A key highlight of the session was the presentation of the Eboca case study, focused on the import, processing, and marketing of coffee. It explained how, through proper project planning and the use of specialized technological solutions, it was possible to implement a complete EUDR compliance system in just one month.

The project covered:

• Identifying affected products and suppliers.
• Automated collection of EUDR data.
• Deforestation and legality risk analysis.
• Automatic creation of due diligence statements.
• Integration with the company’s internal systems.
