Mannheim hosts one of the leading European meetings on sustainability, traceability, and regulatory compliance
On June 9 and 10, Movicoders participated in SoS.26 – Sustainability osapiens Summit, held in Mannheim (Germany), one of the most significant international events in the field of corporate sustainability, supply chain transparency, and digital transformation.
The meeting brought together more than 2,200 business leaders, experts, and professionals from various sectors to analyze how companies can face new regulatory challenges and turn sustainability and compliance into growth levers.
Under the theme of transforming complexity into opportunities, SoS.26 focused on key aspects for the future of organizations: intelligent data management, traceability, process automation, artificial intelligence applied to sustainability, and adaptation to new European regulations.
Movicoders, as a technology partner, shares its expertise in digitalization and operational efficiency
Movicoders’ participation in this event reinforces our commitment to innovation applied to real business challenges. As a partner specializing in traceability, efficiency, and digital transformation solutions, we support organizations that need to connect technology, processes, and regulatory compliance to improve their competitiveness.
During the Summit, Carmelo Marín, Managing Director of Movicoders, gave a presentation titled “From Connecting Assets to Automating Maintenance”, where he showed how the intelligent connection of assets and the automation of maintenance processes improve operational availability, reduce inefficiencies, and generate greater value for organizations.
This vision aligns with one of the event’s key messages: digitalization is no longer just an efficiency tool, but a strategic element for building more agile, sustainable companies prepared for market changes.
The eboca case: when compliance becomes a competitive advantage
One of the most exciting moments for Movicoders at the Summit was when Alberto Zamora, CEO of osapiens, presented the eboca success story, a project in which Movicoders participated by supporting its technological evolution.
The eboca experience demonstrates how a strategy based on traceability, automation, and efficient information management can transform regulatory challenges into business opportunities.
Preparing for regulations such as the EUDR (European Union Deforestation Regulation) is driving many companies to review their internal processes and improve visibility into their supply chains. In this context, having reliable data and digitized processes allows for faster response times, reduced risks, and better decision-making.
The eboca project reflects a key idea shared during SoS.26: regulatory compliance should not be understood solely as an obligation, but as a strategic investment capable of generating new business capabilities.
Technology, sustainability, and data: three pillars for the future of business
Movicoders’ participation in SoS.26 reinforces a conviction: companies that are able to integrate sustainability, technology, and data insights will be better prepared to face an increasingly demanding business environment.
Events like this allow for sharing experiences with international leaders, learning about new trends, and establishing connections with professionals who are building the value chains of the future.
At Movicoders, we continue to work to help companies transform regulatory and operational challenges into opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
